Happy Easter!

Tbh, Easter is something that I know nothing about. Okay, well I know just one thing and that is it has something to do with Christ’s resurrection. I know this is possibly very ignorant of me, but it’s true. I am not a Christian, I do not know many Christians, (I know like 5 or 6, max.), I do not live in a part of the world where the majority is Christian, and it’s not celebrated much where I live.  But, I do have this Easter tradition that we do every year which is very special for me. My mom used to work with this woman many years back and she was also my mom’s friend. When my mom used to work with her, I used to often go to mom’s office and just sit around and watch her work during vacations. This was very many years ago, around 9 or 10 years ago. She is a really warm and friendly person and I used to like her a lot and she was really nice to me always. So after my mom changed jobs, I still kept in touch with this woman through email. Oh and btw, she is a Christian. So every Easter, I send her a happy Easter email, and I always get an Easter egg from her. She travels a lot but irrespective of which city or country she is in, I still receive an egg and candy. I haven’t seen her for more than 8 years, I don’t even remember what she looks like, but still this small tradition of ours lives on. The only thing I remember about her is that she had once given me a stuffed monkey that I used to take everywhere with me. (I still have it!) Its not much but its my Easter and I love it!
